When I was eight, an old man used to ride his bike around our neighborhood in a golden thong.I grew up in old‑school Austin, TX. I have a therapist and a comedian as parents, I went to a performing arts high school... Where I’m from, weirdness is normal & making things was encouraged.
At 8, I taught myself Photoshop so my LEGO stop‑motion figures could throw their lightsabers. By 10, I was creating my own After Effects tutorials and telling my little-league team I had video proof I could shoot lasers from my eyes. Video was just something that I got.
In High school, I started a business creating gameplay montages for Rocket League players all over the globe. Turns out, people like that stuff. I turned around and taught what I’d learned on my own channel and grew it to over 50k subs by the time I graduated.
At 18, I got a job offer from Epic Games that moved me out to San Diego. For three years there I:
