French.
Every Saturday morning, I would watch a 70-year-old man ride his bike around our neighborhood in a golden thong.
I grew up in old school Austin; my parents are a therapist and a comedian, kids wore tails at my high school. Uniqueness was normal and making things was encouraged.
At 7, I taught myself Photoshop so my LEGO stop-motion figures could throw their lightsabers. By 10, I was creating my own After Effects tutorials.
Video has always just made sense to me.
In high school, I started a business making video game montages for Rocket League players. My unique blend of pro-level execution, fundamentals over flash, and personality-forward entertainment allowed me to stand out in a competitive field and grow a social media following of over 50k subscribers (and 3.7 million views!)
This led to a job offer from Epic Games that moved me to San Diego.
For three years, I was a core member of the Rocket League in-house creative team, and got to:
- Direct, edit, animate, and create VFX for over 50 long and short-form videos across all social platforms, accumulating over 200 million views.
- Shoot live events, on stage, in front of 15,000+ people.
-
Collaborate with brands like Nike, Disney, Ford, NFL, 7-11, and more.
- Learn from the most talented and generous people in the world.
I'm at my best where great creative and real business goals meet.
To me, that makes a really good video.
